Welcome back to The Green Hook!🪝
Inside: This month, we’re celebrating 56 years of LGH, sharing project applications where standard equipment isn’t enough, and highlighting how our team configures and prepares equipment for specialised projects. We also recognise Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day, recap a month of industry engagement across NSW, and wrap up with an Easter message as we head into the long weekend.
Celebrating 56 Years of LGH
This month marks 56 years since LGH was founded in the UK in the 1970s, where it all began. From those early days to becoming a global lifting and rigging partner, it’s great to be part of a business with such a strong history in supporting critical lifts across industries. It’s great to be part of that journey here in Australia. Thank you to our customers and team for your continued support – we look forward to what’s ahead.
When a Standard Spreader Beam Isn’t Enough

Air Hoists Configured and Dispatched for WA Offshore Project
Every project has different lifting requirements, which is why equipment often needs to be configured, tested, and prepared before it leaves the workshop. This week, our team dispatched a large batch of air hoists for an upcoming offshore project in Western Australia, with each unit set up to suit the required lift heights and site conditions. Celebrating Women in Construction & International Women’s Day
This month we celebrated Women in Construction Week and International Women’s Day, recognising the women contributing to our industry and the roles they play across our team. We also shared a fun post reflecting on the journeys that led us here — including a look at our younger selves. Read the full post here!
A Month of Industry Engagement
Over the past month, the team has been actively engaging with industry across NSW, attending key infrastructure and energy forums to stay close to upcoming projects and supply chain opportunities. From the Hunter region’s energy transition and transmission projects through to Sydney’s major water infrastructure pipeline, these conversations provide valuable insight into project timelines, delivery priorities, and where the industry is heading.
Wishing You a Safe & Happy Easter 🐣
We hope the long weekend brings a chance to relax, enjoy some well-earned chocolate, and spend time with family and friends. Stay safe, and we look forward to supporting your projects after the break.
