Inside: It’s been a big month across LGH, with plenty happening both on and off site! We’ve been catching up with familiar faces and making new connections at the CICA 2026 conference, supporting some impressive projects and welcoming Jason Rios back to Australia from LGH USA. We’re also sharing a couple of great project stories and some lovely feedback from our customers.
Three fantastic days in the Hunter Valley! This year marked LGH Australia’s third time attending the CICA National Conference and our second year exhibiting.
From reconnecting with familiar faces and customers to making new connections, the event was a fantastic reminder of the strong sense of community within the crane and lifting industry.
We were proud to showcase our lifting and rigging equipment, both on our stand and across the outdoor displays. A huge thank you to the CICA organisers and everyone involved in making another successful event possible!

When conventional crane access isn’t an option, specialist lifting solutions make all the difference.
Working alongside Freo WGC, LGH supplied its Hydra-Slide skidding system to relocate two six-tonne boilers within a confined plant environment, navigating clearances as tight as just 5mm. The project showcased the precision, control and flexibility of Hydra-Slide technology in a challenging equipment-moving operation. Read the full case study here!
A year after his first visit to help lay the foundations of LGH Australia’s operations, Jason Rios from LGH USA returned to see just how far the Australian team has come. This time, the visit included getting out on the road with our Business Development Managers, meeting customers and visiting projects across Australia.

When HMA Group needed to replace a 3.5-tonne coal screen discharge chute, limited headroom made the lift particularly challenging. LGH supplied a 15t Multi-Lug Lifting Beam and 6.3t JDN Air Chain Hoist to help manoeuvre the chute through tight clearances and into position.
The result? The job was completed in a single shift, avoiding the need for costly roof removal and a 400t crane. Read more about the project on LinkedIn.
